Built and governed by people who have operated in the environments it's designed for — remote, austere, and far from definitive care.
Operating in high-risk areas of conflict, Peter has led teams through life-critical scenarios — coordinating joint responses under extreme pressure and in complex, unpredictable conditions. Having spent over a decade in high-stakes frontline roles, he is comfortable setting strategy and executing under pressure. His international experience spans more than 45 countries, including extended in-country work across the Middle East and the Himalayan region.
FieldMedic is built from that experience. As CEO, Peter leads its direction with the same operational clarity he brought to the field.
An emergency medicine and expedition doctor with international diplomas in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine and Mountain Medicine, Lucy brings experience across mountain expeditions and remote humanitarian work. She is a Mountain Leader and member of Endeavour Medical Faculty, teaching expedition and marine medicine internationally while also serving as lifeboat crew.
Lucy has published in BMC Emergency Medicine on clinical apps in major trauma, experience she brings to FieldMedic's clinical governance.
An NHS GP and Expedition and TV/Film doctor with 15+ years experience practising medicine in the world's most extreme environments, Will has worked across the Himalayas, the Andes, the Pacific, Eastern Siberia and rural Myanmar. He is a Fellow in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
As Joint Medical Director of World Extreme Medicine, Will trains fellow clinicians on courses around the world. His expertise in translating clinical and operational complexity into robust decision making in the field is what he brings to FieldMedic's clinical governance.
A Physician Associate with a Doctorate in Medical Science and Master's in Public Health specialising in infectious disease epidemiology, David's experience spans rural psychiatry, addiction medicine, and internal medicine, with extensive work in disaster response, water safety, and austere medicine.
David holds appointments at several universities, and has worked across Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe. His expertise informs FieldMedic's clinical governance for complex presentations in remote and resource-limited environments.
FieldMedic's content is independently audited by practising clinicians whose experience spans the app's clinical scope — from emergency and pre-hospital care to expedition, tropical, and travel medicine. Every condition and medication is reviewed against its cited source by a clinician with relevant field experience.
We occasionally welcome experienced expedition and wilderness medicine clinicians to the audit panel. If that's you, get in touch.
